Although the village has grown, Water loss is gradually being minimized by leak detection programs, equal and fair metering, and public education on conserving our precious ground water resources. The Water system has two reservoirs, with a holding capacity of 250,000- Gallons, and a new elevated Water Tower constructed in 1999, with a capacity of 500,000 Gallons.

The Water Utility staff self operates and maintains the system for distribution and supply, conducts daily water quality testing, collects and complies with all Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources annual Drinking Water Monitoring Requirements.

The Utility staff also maintains and operates the Village’s Sanitary Sewer Collection System and the Wastewater Treatment Plant. After pre-treatment, the plant effluent is pumped through a 6 mile (16 inch) force main where it is connected to the Bay View Interceptor and eventually is transmitted to the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewage District.

Distribution system maintenance and repairs are also done by the Utility, along with contracting the Pulaski Public Works Department and/or one of the area local excavation contractors.

The Village Public Works Department and the Water Utility personnel are currently enrolled with the Consolidated Safety Group Program conducted and audited by Advanced Safety Technologies, which is a Co-operative program directed through the Wisconsin Rural Water Association. Annual Utility operations also include Quarterly meter reading and billing, the continuous Customer Meter Exchange and testing program, Fire Hydrant Flushing and Maintenance, Valve Exercising Program, along with the Cross Connection Survey.
